Carpenter

Production:

·        Construct and assemble wooden components and structures according to technical drawings, blueprints, or specific instructions.

·        Operate machinery and tools necessary for cutting, shaping, and finishing wood materials.

·        Install wooden fixtures, accessories, cabinets, and other components as required in different areas of the factory.

·        Repair and refurbish existing wooden structures, ensuring they meet functional and aesthetic requirements.

Quality Assurance and Control:

·        Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards, including measurements, durability, and visual appearance.

·        Adjust and repair as needed to achieve desired specifications.

Safety Compliance:

·        Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for him/herself and others.

·        Act as a role model for health and safety practices within the factory environment.

·        Follow factory procedures and guidelines for handling materials, tools, and equipment.

Teamwork:

·        Report and collaborate with other production team members, to achieve production goals and resolve technical issues.

·        Communicate effectively within the team to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth workflow.

·        Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced team members to foster skill development.

Scheduled Maintenance:

·        Perform routine maintenance on tools, equipment, and machinery used in carpentry work to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Requirements:

·        Proven experience as a carpenter, preferably in a factory or manufacturing environment.

·        Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.

·        Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and diagrams.

·        Strong attention to detail and accuracy in craftsmanship.

·        Physical stamina and manual dexterity for prolonged periods of standing, bending, and lifting heavy materials.

·        Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to carpentry work.

·        Certification or vocational training in carpentry or a related field is a plus.
